Hello There!

Alexandra Bomhoff in a meadow at Cedar Rock State Park in Iowa.

I’m Alexandra. I have an undergraduate degree in social work and a graduate degree in library and information science. I enjoy exploring, organizing information, writing a saga about a sasquatch and yeti, playing bluegrass and midwestern music, embroidering, crocheting, and quilting.

Two gnomes kissing, and the title: An Enthusiast’s Guide to the Gnome
Click on the image to visit and learn about where to see gnomes in animated series, books, games, and movies. I am very proud of my gnome libguide.

Fingerpainted Orange Sasquatch and aqua yeti
I enjoy digital fingerpaint illustration and writing about cryptozoological cousins who meet in Des Moines. See Sasquatch and Yeti Saga.

Josh Gorman and I are in a duo, calling ourselves Beaverdale Babies. I play ukulele and sing and he plays guitar.
